WEF Publishing, UK Ltd. was a for profit publishing company that was owned by the Water Environment Federation (WEF). It provided publishing services to WEF and other associations. It also sold exhibit space to companies for pavilions at major trade shows around the globe. It provided technical content for non-English magazines published in places like China. It also managed the global membership program for WEF. . As chairman, Dan oversaw the mission of the company as well as its dissolution under UK Government House regulations when the sole shareholder, WEF, decided to merge this operation into its main organization, which was completed in late 2017.

In 2004, Dan began his leadership position as the president & CEO of Black & Veathc's global water business generating more than $800 Million in revenue, with more than 3,000 professionals, serving the water, wastewater, hydropower, mining, and storm water markets. He also served as a board member of the holding company that serves the energy, water, telecommunications and federal services industries, was a member of the executive management team, strategic planning team, and the investment review board for the corporation and served on the board of managers for IMG, the company's subsidiary that manages infrastructure assets.Key Accomplishments:• Transformed the global business into a fully integrated organization that delivered profitable growth and had a global impact as an industry leader.• Led the development of a truly integrated global workforce that managed workload, resource availability, expertise, and market impact globally, leading to increased employee engagement, global teamwork, a high level of client engagement, and ultimately, value creation for the shareholders.• Pushed the development of the work platform needed to make the integrated global workforce effective. Nearly all projects eventually used elements of the system that allowed projects to be delivered 24/7 worldwide.• Led the successful acquisition and integration of the M.J.
