I am a consummate sales professional, but not for the sake of the sale, rather from the strategic perspective of creating a corporate sales environment in response to customer needs. It is easy for me to envision where the company wants to be, develop the sales talent to get there, and lead the team to perform beyond their expectations. My experience spans the wholesale, retail, and manufacturing environments with big-picture knowledge of the strategic role sales plays in each of these types of organizations.It has been a privilege to work for three leaders in the architectural coatings industry. In each position I’ve held, I was hired to take the company to the next level. At Behr, I created a training division to meet a 200% increase in their sales force that was created by the expansive growth of Behr’s primary distributor, Home Depot. Rudd brought me on to expand their regional product lines across the US. At Ace, I developed a new paint brand nationwide from concept to roll-out. In each of these roles, I impacted the company profitability and sales growth to a point where it was successful on its own and it was time for me to use my creative talents helping another company achieve its sales goals. One of my strengths is developing successful sales teams. It is very rewarding to me to bring together teams with diverse talents, develop the training programs to grow their expertise, and deliver corporate sales beyond expectations. I’ve developed a passion for working strategically and collaboratively within the company and creating an environment of excellence to meet the needs of customers. I enjoy coordinating roll-outs of new concepts and hiring, training, and motivating a team of top-notch sales professionals.
