Being the Director of Traffic and Operations it is my responsibility to ensure a safe, effective and customer focused traffic operation in Copenhagen Airport.Core responsibilities:• Airside safety and safety management • Planning and running the CPH flight traffic and flight operations including an efficient traffic execution with utilization of the capacity best way possible - taking the commercial interests of the airline companies into consideration.• Crisis Management• Various Contingency plans including extreme weather• Responsible for the weather forecaster• Conducting plan geometry for programming and project planning of CPH infrastructure – including capacity.• Fire & rescuing (2 fire stations in Copenhagen Airport) • Bus transportation, pilotage and marshall assistance supporting the turnaround process• Field support of outside areas (maintenance, snow clearing, renovation, rain water systems etc.)• Veterinary center• Baggage trolley service • Purchase and maintenance of airport vehicles • Preventive measures to reduce risk of collision between aircraft and birds/mammals • Responsible for the Deputy Airport Manager function, which ensures a 24hour management of the operation at the airport
