🌱 Here’s a bit about my journey...After graduating from university in 2015, I struggled to get a job. As someone from a mixed heritage background with no real connections, I struggled to find role models and mentors to guide me. I was rejected 50+ times and felt lost. 6 months later I finally got my first job in sales but I hated it for many reasons. Eventually, I had to quit for my mental health.So, here I was, one year after graduating, with no job and no hope. I used the time to self-reflect and decided to aim for the biggest and best tech/telco companies in the UK.This time was different. I realised that visibility was more important than ability. I transformed my mindset, job search and networking strategy, choosing quality over quantity. And it worked!I got interviews & job offers from: BT, Vodafone, Sky, Virgin Media and Amazon and landed my dream job on the BT grad scheme. It was one of the happiest days of my life getting that call!💫 Gradvance was born to help graduates land their dream jobs in the UK.I’m proud to say that we’ve helped 300+ people land jobs at Google, TikTok, BT, Vodafone, Amazon, EY, Deloitte, Fujitsu, L’Oréal, Johnson & Johnson and more! It was my own personal struggles that drove me to start Gradvance and I love seeing my clients succeed.I'm also a Marketing Consultant and Digital Marketing Manager at BT, responsible for supporting multiple small businesses, start-ups and scaleups, and have most recently been optimising SaaS product strategies for maximum impact.
