Throughout my career I was my own manager, financial advisor, accountant, brand curator, social media promoter; essentially every business aspect of being a professional artist I was doing for myself, successfully. My success led to me business consulting in various forms; I have advised many institutions, businesses, and individuals in which my methods have increased enrollment, engagement, and profit upwards of 50%. As my career progressed I garnered enough visibility and networking to enable myself to produce my own events; generating a profit and increasing brand visibility to the point sponsors and vendors became involved. Within the aforementioned experiences, along with also working as an underwriter at a financial firm, I often handled financial and corporate data. In the role of underwriter I was in charge of consolidation, loans, and lines of credit as large as $250K. I am no stranger to creating, interpreting, and/or analyzing balance sheets, P&L, bank statements, stock portfolios, loan/loc agreements, taxes, ROI projections, real estate/asset evaluation, and executing budget management with other fiscal tasks. My finance acumen is further affirmed by my B.A. in Economics from the City College of New York. I also am currently preparing for various FINRA exams. In my roles as a self-managed performer, event producer, and project manager; I have individually completed every step involved in executing an event or project. From idea conception, to venue selection, artist curation, talent booking, vendor coordination, task delegation, contract negotiations, budget management, marketing, stage managing, KPI assessment, and more. With my performance and educator experience, I excel in articulating this data to a diverse range of audiences as well. In an effort to affirm this ‘on paper’ I have completed Google’s Project Management course. As a performer and educator, I am well versed in ‘working a room.’ My public speaking and performance skills exude throughout my ability to disseminate information in meetings and conduct presentations. With my teaching of both adults and children; I have more than 15 years of experience creating, instructing, and implementing tutorials, training modules, and mentoring. My education abilities are displayed further with my 4.0 GPA in Hunter College’s graduate dance education program. Lastly, as an improvisational performer I am very comfortable executing under pressure.
