Setup Team Leader, Power Plant• Communicate and log daily activities, and coordinate operations with area Managers.• Maintain safety focus for crew, assisting in annual review of Emergency Procedures.• Train crew members on use of HECP (lock-out, tag-out) procedures.• Fill crew vacancies as needed, and approve employee time cards.• Collaborate with Maintenance for lock outs and shutdowns, as well as working with other customers including Pulp Mill, Paper Mill, and Wood Room.• Conduct site visits and monitor outlying areas such as Co-Gen, Recaust and Waste Treatment.SO-1 and Power Plant Operator, Power Plant• Responsible for overall operation of plant, licensed to run at 1.5 million pounds of steam per hour. • Monitor 900 pound steam for power production in 3 GE steam condensing turbines and 160/60 pound steam for paper production and mill wide operations.• Oversee water systems, power boilers, waste fuel incinerator, recovery boilers, hydroelectric stations, evaporators and concentrators to process black liquor to burn as fuel in the recovery boiler process. • Perform all outside operations of the plant including troubleshooting boiler systems, addressing blackout issues, monitoring water treatment equipment, and overseeing evaporator operations.Operator, #4 Paper Machine – Conducted all tasks to maintain efficient production of paper, including operation of multi-ton cranes, assisting on winders, sampling production materials, and helping with operation of the paper machine.Wrapper Head Finisher, PS&D – Worked through ranks of department from roll handling and cutting broke to winder helper, winder operator, wrapper helper, and finally wrapper head finisher. Also performed other jobs in this area including loading shipping trucks and box cars.

Provide local home owners with home repair and renovation services including window replacements, overhead door repairs and replacements, deck construction, exterior doors, cabinetry, counter tops, and finish work (moldings and trim). Designed and drafted floor plans to build homes, implementing plans in the construction of homes and garages in gambrel and salt box styles.

Responsible for building store fixtures and trim to customer specifications, including custom fitting, sanding, laminating, and assisting in finishing and shipping. Major customers served by this company included Macy’s, Hecht’s, and Filene’s.

Created cabinets from start to finish, beginning with lumber in the rough to finish mill work, lamination, varnish, delivery and installation. Constructed product to customer specifications from shop drawings and samples provided by customers. Customers served by this shop included schools, churches, hospitals, paper mills, and residential homes.

Produced parts for conveyor systems, plows, and wood stoves to precision dimensions to meet customer needs. Used Bridgeport and horizontal milling machines, lathes and surface grinders.
