During my career I have held key positions with power quality leaders such as VYCON, Eaton/Powerware, Power Distribution Inc., and Exide Electronics. As VP of Sales & Marketing with VYCON I have guided the company from a startup position to the market leader in flywheel DC energy storage. Prior to VYCON, I was with Eaton Corporation where I managed the Central Zone for Eaton’s Powerware brand of Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and associated power quality solutions. Throughout my career, I have been on the forefront of power quality introductions that include flywheel energy storage, harmonic mitigation, transformerless remote distribution for computer rooms and switchable uninterruptible dual bus UPS systems. Under my direction as VP of Sales and Marketing with VYCON , strategic programs have been initiated that include establishing industry alliances, increasing market awareness for VYCON’s unique flywheel technology, building of a world class sales team and implementation of proven sales processes for large capital equipment. Through my leadership, VYCON sales in the power quality market have expanded to record levels for the company.
