They are known for distributing every piece of equipment that keeps your lights on and energy flowing. In this role I managed a team of 4 peers to perform supply chain projects centers around improving processes using lean six sigma methodologiesProjects included:- Implementing a bin location system to track 3,223 different SKUs effectively reducing the average pick-to-order time by 35%- Evaluated costs of products across 3 different suppliers resulting in a price savings of $5,000 per purchase of all evaluated products- Oversaw evaluation of current inventory versus ERP generated Minimums and Maximums to show which products were over-stocked or under-stocked- Collected and displayed data showing a more efficient way to perform shipments based on Milk-Runs shipped by time and direction.

Command Electronics specializes in manufacturing, assembly, and international sourcing of lighting for RV, Marine, truck, cargo trailers, bus, and off-road vehicle applications.In this role I completed Supply Chain continuous improvement projects centered around reducing waste and improving processes through the use of Lean Six Sigma.Projects Included:- Participated in 5S Kiazen events to reduce redundancies in tools and material- Cut out Kiazen foam for new work benches to standardize and sustain the 5S- Reorganized plastic resin material rack by analyzing usage percentages based on ABC method- Reduced inventory on plastic resin material rack by 25% providing additional square footage for higher usage parts

Impact Label is an organization that specializes in the creation and production of everything from domed labels and graphic overlay for consumer products to safety and warning labels for industrial applications.Through one of my classes at Western Michigan University - partnering through BroncoForce - myself and a team of four provided an indirect strategic source for new furniture that would be used in their new office. (Details below)- Collaborated with Impact label to conduct a needs assessment for furniture that would go into Impact Labels new facility- Conducted a market search for Furniture suppliers in the West Michigan area.- Evaluated 2 suppliers through the use of a Pugh matrix with a focus on Quality, Cost, Location, and Customer Service.- Issued a Request for Quotation to the suppliers- Presented our findings to Impact Labels management team so they could make a informed decision.
