I have two key passions that drive my work with leaders and organizations: 1. The first is a passion for all things leadership and peak performance-related. As an ex-corporate CEO and ICF-Certified Executive and Leadership Coach, I partner with C-Suite executives and high performers (including Big 4 Consulting, Panasonic, Virgin/Alaska, Toyota, Parsons, as well as leaders in advertising, media, entertainment, and tech) to develop their leadership skills, improve employee engagement, accelerate career growth, and grow bottom line results for the diverse, 21st century workplace and marketplace. With 20+ years of corporate experience working for top-tier global advertising/marketing firms (including McCann and D'Arcy/Publicis), including 12+ years at division CEO level in the U.S. and internationally. Consistent record of success in leading and growing client brands and growing agency companies in the U.S. general market, U.S. Hispanic/multicultural markets, and various international markets. (Clients include Procter & Gamble, General Motors, Nestlé, J&J, GSK, AOL, Microsoft, Miller/Coors, The Home Depot, Kohl's, Kraft, General Mills, and the U.S. Army, among many others). 2. My second great passion is Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and closing the diversity gap in leadership. As past CEO of 2 of the top 10 multicultural marketing firms in the U.S., I helped clients understand, respect, and connect to diverse consumers (Hispanic, Black, Asian, LGBT and women) while grooming hundreds of diverse leaders to excel in the corporate arena. While client companies became expert at multicultural marketing (outperforming every other aspect of their U.S. operations), I noticed they used few/none of these cultural insights to better retain and advance diverse leaders within their organizations.This inspired me to found my organizational consulting firm, High Performance Edge, in 2010 to help companies accelerate the growth of their diverse leaders and to create inclusive, anti-racist cultures where diverse talent can flourish and thrive. Diversity & Inclusion also happens to be one of the best peak performance strategies to drive innovation and growth so it further complements and fuels passion #1.
