As a young professional with diverse experience in top-tier strategy consulting, peacebuilding and reconciliation, gender-based violence, project management, and criminal justice reform, I have always been driven by two main passions: achieving results, and serving my community. At the National Network for Safe Communities, I have pursued my personal passion for violence intervention (specifically intimate partner, sexual, and gang violence); elevating the voices of communities marginalized by race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and other identities; and promoting truth and reconciliation as key to transforming public safety systems. Through traditional research, hands-on field advising, management of government and private grants, extensive writing, and graduate study at the London School of Economics & Political Science, I have expanded my skill sets across the U.S. and Europe to address some of the most critical issues facing our global communities.Prior to NNSC and the LSE, my years as a management consultant with Bain & Company empowered me with many of these critical skills. At Bain, I advanced my ability to drive results in many different strategic, communication, and operational capacities. My experience in project management, client relationship-building, research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and business and operational savvy yielded great success on a variety of projects, including a 10-year growth strategy case for a national non-profit. I also leveraged interpersonal and leadership skills to lead undergraduate diversity recruiting at my alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, where I graduated magna cum laude.
