The Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly Conservation Review Board) is a regulatory tribunal that hears disputes on matters relating to the protection of properties considered to hold cultural heritage value or interest or of archaeological significance to a municipality or to the Minister of Culture, as defined by the Ontario Heritage Act.

I teach law and business in the post-graduate design management and game design programs at GBC's School of Design.

I'm proud to serve as General Counsel for the Association of Canadian Industrial Designers, which was established in 1948.

As an associate I:• Served as sole junior lawyer on an appeal, which if successful would have resulted in the largest judgment in Canadian history (in excess of $90 million), and undertook all research for the file, dealing with a multitude of issues, including contract and tort• Was responsible for the drafting and preparation of administrative law appellate facta for the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal and made repeated appearances as junior counsel• Gained extensive experience in professional discipline matters, administrative and tribunal law and appeals, judicial review procedures and general commercial litigation• Provided advice to clients, prepared legal opinions, case analyses, policy reviews, briefed senior counsel in writing and orally, negotiated and mediated settlements As a student-at-law, I experienced litigation, including personal carriage of small claims files, corporate-commercial matters, corporate insurance regulation and compliance, and real estate law through a comprehensive articling rotation program
