Compile and analyse transactions and financial information to prepare well documented journal entries to general ledger accounts.Prepare, compute and handle the payroll administration including all accounts related to payroll such as premiums for Social Security, Philhealth, withholding tax and others.Prepare account and bank reconciliation including any adjusting journal entries. Prepare account analysis, maintain and reconcile accounting schedules and prepare any adjusting journal entry. Post approved adjusting entries.Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports. Assist with the preparation of reports submitted to goverment agencies.Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

Handles the consolidation of departmental annual operating budget and prepares statistical data/information relative to budget details for ready reference.Assist the Minesite Comptroller in the preparation of financial runs and analysis of cost against budget.Evaluates feasibility study of mining plans/programs and other financial studies for management information and guidance.Handles the checking of all advances subject for liquidation of all staffs/employees.

Supervises the preparation of Labor and Supplies Cost for the month.Sees to it that employees/workers labor cards are properly reconciled with the actual total payroll amount and hours and ensures that labor hour cost code distribution are likewise handled by the department concerned.Re-checks materials & supplies transaction listing if in order; reviews account charges; makes comparative analysis of materials and supplies consumption.Monitors daily proof listing of materials issues and initiates correction/adjustment if any.Coordinates other accounting section in the batching of all needed source documents for monthly cost reports.

Checks/Verify the correctness of entry in the job time card.Help/Assist the Payroll Supervisor in the Post Audit of Job Time Card for possible over/under payment of salaries.Handles charges to proper account of salaries and wages every payroll period.Paymaster every payday.Prepares the following monthly schedules: Payroll Analysis. Employees Withholding Tax, Social Security and other Government Statutory Report.
