About Danni Glover
Having built my career around improving outcomes for people affected by the criminal justice system in Northern Ireland and Scotland, I am currently working for Glasgow City Council in partnership with various statutory and third-sector agencies to build a fairer, safer city as Hate Crime Policy Officer. I'm a native Glaswegian who spent five years in Northern Ireland working in the charity sector while also lecturing and completing my PhD. My thesis topic was a history of anthology in the construction of British national identities and genders. My research interests include bibliotherapy, the history of the book, eighteenth-century letters, urban Romanticism, and camp cinema. I have also written on subjects as diverse as LGBT rights in Northern Ireland and the role of women in horror film narratives. I'm interested in small, time-limited freelance projects in the following areas: bibliotherapy; social narratives of reading and literature; and restorative justice.
Listed skills include Academic Writing, Writing, University Teaching, Editing, and 15 others.
