I am passionate about values-based education that holistically supports young people to develop as compassionate, healthy, skilled human beings, with a sense of awe and respect for the natural world.Whilst, of course, academic rigour is of the utmost importance to the 'business' of education, and to the ongoing intellectual development of our species on this planet, it is our duty to embrace diversity and facilitate an encouraging and constructive environment for every individual. We must not lose sight that to educate is to facilitate the growth of people, holistically.I'd like to join together effectively with those who wish to strive towards a more sustainable existence, and are open to challenging the current model of transferring knowledge to the next generation of custodians of this magnificent planet.
