Accountant:Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Prepares, examines, and analyzes accounting records, monthly financial statements, or otherfinancial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and proceduralstandards• Maintains and reconciles all assigned general ledger accounts• Monitors and generates reports to management of cash balances for multiple affiliated entities• Prepares journal entries and maintains and reconciles various general ledger accounts to ensureaccurate monthly processes• Analyzes business operations, trends, costs and revenues to project future revenues and expensesor to provide advice• Completes assigned tasks in the monthly close process• Examines processes used to generate the journal entries that create the monthly financialstatements, and confirms accuracy, completeness and relevancy of the elements used• Develops, maintains and analyzes budgets, and prepares periodic reports that compare budgetedcosts to actual costs, for both operating costs and capital expenditures• Documents processes and desktop procedures used in performing assigned responsibilities• Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and accountingcontrol procedures• Performs advanced and specialized accounting assignments involving complex and confidential data• Comply with company policies and procedures• Perform other duties as needed or requestedAccounts Payable Specialist:Essential Duties and Responsibilities. •Enters data for accounts payable and non-discount purchase orders into system for timely payments.•Files paid invoices with check copies for accurate recordkeeping.•Matches receiving documentation and purchase orders with non-discount vendor invoices for accurate recordkeeping.•Enters data on distributors’ refunded check to ensure timely payment.•Processes and distributes all purchase request forms to ensure timely payment.•Submits copies of all purchase request forms from Payable Committee for approval.•Complies with company policies and procedures.•Process electronic payments via ACH and Wire•Performs other duties as needed.Skills• Proficient use of MS Office Products and computer software application.• Moderate levels of English reading comprehension, writing, and speaking, and active listening.
