I am a writer and editor with more than 7 years of experience. I currently work as a Marketing Coordinator for an engineering firm, focusing on proposal writing and helping to create and enforce standards for our team. I developed a passion for writing and communicating during my four years in journalism before carrying that passion into health care. I worked in Corporate Communications, where I wrote a variety of communications for employees and patients, including articles, blog posts, emails, and system-wide informational pieces. I am a skilled communicator both written and oral and have a very strong attention to detail, as I have several years of experience as an editor in various capacities. I have journalistic, professional, and academic editing experience and have edited three full-length novels for a self-published author. I am a self-starter who can work effectively both in groups as well as alone. I can efficiently handle multiple projects at once while under tight deadlines. I am a fast learner and am always eager to expand my skills.
