I have also been an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) Physician Assistant program since 2018. Currently, I am the Interim Program Director at the UMKC Physician Assistant program. Danni Gray completed a rigorous application and interviewing process to enter PA School. UMKC had 300 applications and interviewed 80 candidates. Ms. Gray was selected as one of twenty members of the Class of 2021 and matriculated in January 2019. I served as the Interim Program Director as well as a didactic and clinical instructor for her. As the Interim Program Director, I had the privilege of working closely with her. My responsibility is to ensure that Ms. Gray had the ability to critically think, engage with patients, perform well academically, and maintain a professional demeanor. I am tasked with providing constructive criticism to ensure she achieves these goals. Ms. Gray graduated near the top of her class with a 3.824 GPA and demonstrates the ability to lead in all settings. Ms. Gray was enthusiastic in her academic pursuits, exhibits kindness, maturity, and is self-directed. She is honest and dedicated to the Physician Assistant profession and her patients. She has demonstrated excellence in her academic endeavors as stated above and strives to apply this knowledge in all settings. Ms. Gray is the type of person that is constantly giving to others and is truly a team leader. She assisted her classmates and the faculty in many ways.
