Dan has experience as a global audit engagement partner. He has a global perspective and a network of relationships within PwC from his years working with large US and European multinational companies. Dan focuses on communication, relationship building and the early identification and management of difficult issues and significant transactions. He has widely travelled the globe for business or to explore different cultures with his family. Dan joined the firm in 1984 and made Partner in 1997. During his almost 30 years with PwC, Dan has provided assurance and mergers & acquisition services to a wide range of public and private companies operating in the United States and overseas markets, primarily in Asia. Dan currently works with companies in the Pacific Northwest, but previously worked in San Francisco on a global, privately held retail client, in Hong Kong on a global technology company and in Shanghai on various global industrial product and technology companies. Dan was the Firm’s technology industry leader for China, and the quality review partner on a very large telecommunications company based in Beijing. For the past seven years, Dan has been the lead audit engagement partner on a global, family owned business which manufactures and distributes products for the construction industry and operates in 20 countries and has 20,000 employees. Dan has helped a number of US and Chinese companies to successfully plan, execute and complete initial public offerings in the United States. During his work in Asia, Dan advised US and European multinationals on many due diligence investments in respect of green field projects or strategic investments in or acquisitions of Chinese companies.
