I am a Graduate Part Time Instructor with a sociology Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I teach and research topics related to race, immigration, and inequality. With over nine years of teaching experience, I develop and deliver engaging and rigorous courses on social movements, stratification, research methods, and other areas of sociology. I also mentor and advise undergraduate students and collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum development and assessment.My passion for social justice and human rights drives my research agenda, which focuses on the intersections of race, ethnicity, culture, and inequality in the U.S. and globally. I have written and presented multiple academic papers on these issues, using various qualitative and quantitative methods. I have also gained skills in project management, proposal writing, data analysis, and editing through working as a research assistant and a writing tutor. In addition, I have completed certifications in social behavioral research and project management, and I am proficient in Japanese, Spanish, and Chinese. I have just graduated from with my Ph.D. and amactively looking for work in the fields of social science research (both qualitative and quantitative) as well as DEI and project management work.
