I joined Tissino to grow sales in their new contract/architect market and retail distribution in the south of England. Entering this new market space for the company has required a lot of hard work and in 2015 I successfully opened many new accounts to help grow this new section. I was mostly out on the road covering a wide geographic area of the country.

APM supplies consumables to the agricultural industry. I joined APM to go grow sales in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Berkshire.

I enjoyed three very fulfilling roles at Artisans, progressing from working in the installations department to managing this department and later becoming a stone consultant working directly with architects, designers and clients on high ticket projects involving luxury stone flooring. Initially at Artisans I was supervising projects and carrying out pre-install surveys. A major part of this role was dealing with and caring for customers. I then progressed to managing the Installations Dept. which included running 12 fitting teams and scheduling materials and labour.In November 2009 I progressed into the sales team. Initially I worked on sample selection, handling telephone enquiries and serving in the show room. As I learnt the product I moved up to become a stone consultant which involved F2F selling with architects, designers and private clients. A key part of this role was being able to accurately read drawing and work out design pitfalls, what materials would work best and produce quotes.This was a very fulfilling chapter in my career in which I learnt many skills in negotiation and sales closure through to people skills and personal development.

After joining a construction firm in 1993 as an apprentice in brick laying I became involved in a variety of trades within the firm. Over the next years I gained experience accross many construction disciplines including fit-out, furniture, fixings, power tools, windows, doors before joining Artisans of Devizes as a site foreman, a role which progressed to management and stone consultant as above.
