Profile bio

About Danny Amon

I am a recent graduate of McGill University in Montreal, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioresource Engineering. I am currently searching for a permanent position in and around the Montreal area as I am looking to apply the skills I have developed during my engineering studies, and expand upon this knowledge in the field. During my university experience, I devoted a lot of my time to student initiatives, such as design clubs, aiding in orientation programs for new students, and being elected into multiple student societies. For me, it was a great way to get involve, give back to our beautiful community, learn many managerial and leadership skills, as well as make McGill the best experience of my life. While my time being involved in student affairs ranged from simply greeting new students, to sitting on the Board of Governors of the University, I have learned a lot from every role, and am excited to apply them to the engineering field. My passion for the outdoors has grown into a strong connection with the environment, which furthers my desire for sustainable development. This passion for a better world, mixed with my realistic approach to problem solving has enabled me to continue to find solutions that benefit all stakeholders. I rely on a strong work ethic and my experience in leadership roles to produce quality results.I look forward to developing my career as an engineer and having a positive impact towards environmental sustainability, all while providing a useful service to my company.
