My role as an Solutions Architect at PACCAR ITD is to define solutions using new or existing technologies, to support PACCAR’s business & IT strategy.

I've worked in various technical & leadership roles at PACCAR ITD, including: automation analyst, business app developer, technical lead, technical supervisor, B2B business analyst/developer, Technology Research Engineer, and currently as Lead Developer/Tech Lead. As an automation analyst, I worked in computer operations automating operational tasks on IBM mainframe, IBM AS/400 mini-computer, Unix, & Windows server platforms.As a business app developer, I analyzed, designed, developed, deployed, and supported various business apps in areas including manufacturing systems (paint robots, cab assembly), dealer info systems (warranty registration, service info, preventative maintenance, parts order entry, supplier inventory, engine prep, sales configuration), B2B Business Partner Systems (Order Processing & Warranty systems), with exposure to vehicle diagnostics & Telematics. As a B2B developer, performed B2B business requirements/analysis, design, development, & service deployment. Activities include implementations for: STAR compliant B2B web services; schema/contract driven systems integration via XML web services; BizTalk app development; responsive (mobile) web app development for product support; administrative web app development; and, B2B app life-cycle management.As a technology research engineer, I researched and developed innovative solutions to business problems, employing emerging 3rd platform technologies such as big data, internet of things (IoT), cloud platforms, mobile platforms, augmented reality, & social media. I've also been engaged in CAN (control area network) message protocol development & embedded systems development. As a lead developer for Dealer domain, built ASP.Net Core microservice rapid-development tools including project templates, utilities, & reusable on-prem & cloud backend connection packages/modules. Current efforts include REST/JSon API development to support various Dealer domain initiatives.
