Manages and executes a facilities planning/renovation/maintenance program, encompassing both short and long-range capital improvement projects across multiple NEXCOM districts in support of NEX, NGIS, and Navy Lodge (NL).- Develops, coordinates, and oversees the execution of facilities improvements required to increase sales and/or reduce expenses in District activities, including repair and renovation projects, as well as fixed assets and minor equipment replacements.- Identifies and develops thorough project scopes, including narrative descriptions, site plans, conceptual floor plans, locator maps, cost estimates, equipment schedules and other documentary materials, to fully explain and support project submissions.- Coordinates with multiple General Managers and DVPs (or equivalent) for NEX, NGIS, and NL to scope, develop, and coordinate infrastructure and equipment projects in support of NEXCOM operational and capital budget requirements. Manages approved budgets.- Establishes time lines, flow charts and plans of action, to aggressively initiate, execute and complete facility improvement projects in the most expedient and cost effective methods.- Oversees development of statement of work for contract execution. Supports site visits, investigations, and base/installation coordination to support execution of contracted work.- Develops computerized, management information reports and analyses, e.g., project phasing charts, financial and statistical trends, schedule and funding updates, progress reports, and other material relevant to major claimants, base commands, NEX, NGIS, and Navy Lodge interests.- Ensures all facilities plans conform to applicable installation development (master) plans; site approvals; building, electrical, life safety, fire suppression, fire protection, sanitation, plumbing, HVAC and safety codes; and other governing regulations.

Responsibility for the safe repair and troubleshooting of all mechanical aspects including electrical, instrumentation systems, and performing mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance paying attention to procedural compliance quality of work. Communicates effectively with machine operators, production supervisors, outside contractors, and plant maintenance personnel. Exercise considerable judgment and problem-solving skills when supervision is not available. Performance is measured by response to repair time ratios, successful performance of preventive maintenance programs, communication with management and accountabilities such as attendance, safety and punctuality/uptime on all controlling of monitoring systems and instrumentation. Security ManagerAs Account Manager, manages over 75 accounts across Hampton Roads and 300 security guards on a daily basis equaling approximately 10 million in revenue. Coordinated with his Assistant Operation manager and other account managers to ensure security coverage of sites with no lapse in coverage and minimal overtime impact. Manages scheduling and logistical to ensure continuity of service and contract terms are met. Collaborated with training and SOP manager to assist in creating and/or updating SOP’s for client sites to remain in compliance with the Department of Criminal Justices Services. Served as a member of Operations Management team contributing to a collective effort of process improvement, strategic planning, and problem analysis and solution. Developed and Provided frontline training for incoming employees ensuring they had the tools necessary to perform the job.
