-Working as part of the development team, my main objective as a Test Analyst was to ensure that Vista software has a sufficient level of quality before it is released to customers.-Deeply involved in ensuring that team processes are well understood and applied and assist the wider business in being able to use and implement the development output of the team.-Testing is focused in Integrations, which are localization and custom developments for the different regions (Europe, Middle East and Africa). These include hardware and online payment systems, reporting and data extracts, communicating with 3rd party APIS and supporting various European government tax regulations.-Develop and document Test Plans & Test Cases, for functional testing of Specifications (new work).-Develop and document Test points for functional testing of defects (internal and customer defects).-Maintain regression Test Plans along with ongoing functional testing.-Perform testing for both new work and defects, and perform testing to meet release needs (functional, regression, performance, system testing).-Provide test estimates.-Review development requirements and acceptance criteria to understand business case, provide feedback to analysts and support for developers.-Develop expertise in Vista applications managed by the Vista development team. Hold expertise in functional features of product, customer use of product, product installation.-Assist Product Owner/Development Team Leads to review Release Notes/Instructions prior to release for selected product areas.-Work with the development team to maintain high standards and low rework levels.-Assist in implementation and troubleshooting of tested developments with Projects team and improve post release instruction standards.

-Assist with the development of testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and/or usability.-Conducted software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, Operating systems and/or network environments.-Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope to meet set deadlines.-Test the software standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality and release readiness. -Test system modifications to prepare for application implementation.-Document test procedures to ensure reliability and compliance with standards. Identify program deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance.-Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential risks.-Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, completeness, and to mitigate risks.-Develop automated testing scripts using Tosca test suite for business process driven testing.
