After working in Credit Hire for 4 years, I have recently moved to HF's large loss team dealing primarily with motor insurance indemnity disputes, amongst a variety of different types of claim that can arise out of an RTA.

I handle claims from cradle to grave ensuring swift and economic settlements for both the business and the customer. My main duties are to review indemnity and liability whilst monitoring any ongoing losses and then negotiating settlement of the invoices received if the defendant were liable for the same.Reviewing indemnity and liability would consist of calling our insured and taking statements from them and any witnesses. Liaising with police to obtain police reports and CCTV footage and instructing assessors or investigators, if necessary.My specialism is credit hire and I am fully versed in GTA and Non-GTA claims and would also deal with claims pre- and post- litigation, providing instructions to solicitors on Delegated and Non-Delegated basis. Between 2015 and 2017, I assisted Management in setting up the High Value and Technical Team and therefore have in-depth exposure to Small Claims, Fast Track and Multi Track cases. I currently work on the Part 8 Credit Hire team dealing with all hire invoices received within the MOJ Portal and am therefore fully versed in both Part 7 and Part 8 of the CPR. As part of this team, I also deal with In-House Litigation and will therefore Acknowledge Service, review Court Orders and instruct Counsel directly, giving me a richer experience of Part 8 litigation.
