I began my career working in a large nightclub which after several years I then became an SIA instructor along side the Door Supervisor role. In December 2017 I became the head of security in Pryzm Plymouth until October 2021 where I then became the area manager for the company’s door supervisors. I am now managing over 100 door supervisors for City Security and ensuring the development and training is continued to a high standard. I am also the lead trainer for City Security where I manage and organise DS courses, including Top-Up, SG courses, including Top-Up, first aid delivery and CCTV courses and organise the other trainers diary. I have also worked at a variety of festivals and large events around the country performing various roles including gate security, search team, mobile patrol, response team member and response team leader and PIT barrier operator.

My role was the 19+ education security instructor where my role focused on working with people to improve their employment skills for the security industry. I created a course which included a security related employability qualification, SIA Door Supervisor qualification as well as a stewarding qualification with the aim to produce well rounded and knowledgeable newly qualified personnel. I also worked along side the 16-19 year old college tutors, contributing to assessments as well as delivering specialist units.
