My legal practice mostly focuses on helping families with planning for and dealing with life's transitions, often related to estates or financial matters. My tax practice primarily focuses on families and individuals, some of whom who need varying degrees of attention with tax or property issues caused by "life's persistent questions". Beginning in 2014, I've done a lot more general practice (sometimes referred to as "country lawyerin'"), usually referred by existing clients, other professionals, or other trusted "good folks."

My tax practice primarily focused on family property: elderly individuals (some high-net worth and some not) who needed varying degrees on hands-on care in matters of personal finance, trusts, estate/gift and family partnerships, as well as what some call "forensic" work or litigation consulting.

The earliest years were spent in various orchestral ensembles and competitions. Early teenage years were spent in dance orchestras and rock bands. Later teenage and 20's years yielded acoustic music now known as "Americana". A Nashville recording and touring project ("North Fork Express") later resulted in touring with country artists in the U.S. and Europe. After that, wrote, recorded and performed with power pop trio "The Mercenaries" and with "The Rancheros", which sounded much like country radio today. Throughout these years, a solid catalog of songs were written, most of which have not been assigned to any publishing house. After 2007, this work mostly confined to faith related venues.

Tax return and workpaper preparation for small businesses and individuals; some audit work for midsize local businesses. Assist new owner of practice and seller of practice with workflow during first year of transition.

Paralegal work (mostly in real estate and estates) for downtown Nashville and Gallatin, Tennessee law firms.

Recording and touring musician/writer. Began phasing out as full time professional musician and writer to take care of business clients in mid-1980's. Completed transition to law firm and CPA firm business activity in 1994 with completion of all outstanding recording and touring projects.
