Directed preventative maintenance and sustainment activities on electrical distribution and power generation systems across 15 geographically separated bases. Utilized work management software to plan work tasks, estimate repairs and coordinate with utility providers to balance loads and facilitate switching to enable maintenance and repair actions on the base's 22kV distribution network comprised of 77 substations, lightning protection systems and associated equipment in order to minimize power disruptions to 1,700 facilities. Oversaw preventative maintenance and repair activities on 126 emergency generators ranging in size from 1-800kW to sustain critical operations during unscheduled power outages. Utilized technical manuals/letters and interpret drawings to determine repair requirements. Built and operated a 2mW power plant and 4,160V distribution network to establish and maintain power to a 260 person encampment and deliver Iraq's only Personnel Recovery/Casualty Evacuation Unit to support combat operations during the Mosul offensive.
