Master Carpenter and Main Set Builder for Citadel Theatre's Education Summer Camp 2016. The shows I built for were "The Jungle Book, Jr." and "Once on this Island, Kids."This was my very first Master Carpenter position in the Theater Industry.Responsible for:-Building the set-Making sure the build stayed on schedule-Making sure we stayed in the building.

Jobs varied depending on the individual gigs. Duties included: rigging truss, hanging and focusing lights, loading and unloading trucks, and setting up and tearing down events and concerts.Notable gigs include:Rob Zombie's Great American Nightmare Tour (2015): Load-in Crew, Spot Light Operator, Backstage Crew, and Load-out CrewFreeman Warehouse: Sent over.

We had weekly changeovers, having to switch between a stage and a bingo hall.

Ballet Legere does a yearly performance of The Nutcracker. We installed a set they use every year, ran the show, and striked the set and returned it to its storage space. Since the set is very old, there were some repairs to some set pieces that happened during the rehearsals that I had to do.

I operate a studio grade video camera during Southeast Missouri State sporting events. Working under a production crew from KFVS and associated with Southeast Missouri State Mass Media Department.

I stagehand for touring shows and music concerts. I assist with stage lighting. During touring shows I work as a stage carpenter, assisting the touring staff with setup and tear down of their sets and scenery. We do occasionally handle some maintenance for the Bedell theater.

The show was 2 One-Act plays: Act 1, Amahl & the Night Visitors; Act 2, Amelia Goes to the Ball- The main thing I was in charge of was the set change in between the two operas ran smoothly.- It was a low staffed production so I had to work with the actors as my stage crew and worked side by side with the Stage Manager.

I maintain a regular work schedule of 8 hours a week, work all department scheduled weekend work calls and strikes, and I assume leadership roles in reinforcing proper shop safety policies and construction techniques to the rehearsal and production students while they work in the scene shop.

I worked as a freelance painter. My main duties were to clean and paint the machinery on a newly updated outbound at a United Parcel Service facility.
