My professional experience spans over 25 years. Starting out in industrial recruitment I moved into specialist recruitment in 1998 with Social Housing Group, subsequently acquired by Capita in 2000. I quickly progressed to Team Leader status working with the Surveying disciplines and consistently hit top fee earning status within the group. I then progressed to Branch Manager then Regional Manager before being offered an outstanding opportunity within the Resourcing Group in London as an equity Director to establish a private sector surveying and engineering division. This was a success but decided that I needed to be closer to my daughter on the South Coast and returned to Capita as a Senior Manager in Southampton. After 12 years’ service to Capita I decided to venture out to create Build Recruitment where I believed there was a niche market within Surveying & the Built Environment as a whole. We created a full Built Environment recruitment service and work with some of the leading organisations in our sectors and positioned Build as a leading player. After 14 years as MD at Build Recruitment I have decided to take a step back from running the business with my co-directors and work as an independent consultant for Build and any other clients that require my services through Surveying Recruitment Ltd. I am also open to consultancy services offering my many years’ experience as a proven Sales Director within recruitment.
