I have been working with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy since 2010, primarily on natural resource conservation, vegetation management, and landscape scale habitat restoration projects. Between 2018 to 2023, I managed delivery of fine scale vegetation mapping and landscape database projects in Marin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties, which included regional collaboration of over two dozen local, state, and federal land managing agencies and partners. Recent work includes leading completion of the Marin Regional Forest Health Strategy, a One Tam initiative that leverages spatial data, science, and partnership to identify opportunities to improve forest resilience and protect biodiversity, while also strategically managing vegetation to reduce wildfire hazard for communities, key habitats, and other valuable resources.The Senior Project Manager role at the Parks Conservancy manages all aspects of the planning, design, and implementation of large scale and highly complex park projects in support of the Parks Conservancy’s six agency partners, the National Park Service, the Presidio Trust, the Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District, the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Marin Municipal Water District, and Marin County Open Space District. Park projects vary, and include facilities, structures, site improvements, trails, ecological and cultural landscape restoration, and vegetation management. The Senior PM is capable of managing multiple large scale projects simultaneously, while also overseeing multiple small to mid-size projects of department staff, and mentors junior staff and their project portfolio to ensure timely, appropriate, and high quality completion of all projects.
