I am currently working as the Associate Director of Archaeology and a Principal Investigator for New South Associates in their Greensboro, North Carolina office.I have directed projects of various sizes from small surveys to large data recovery excavations. I have worked with a wide range of clients including federal agencies, state and local governments, and private corporations. My field experience includes Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.I received a B.A. in History (minor in Anthropology) from Jacksonville State University and an M.A. in Anthropology from Eastern New Mexico University. I have 28 years of experience and have been with New South for 15 years. I have authored or co-authored over 300 technical reports, presented 18 professional papers, and published one peer-reviewed journal article. My specialties include pre-contact archaeology, lithic technology, quantitative analysis, and GIS/spatial analysis.
