Spokesperson to most senior Department of Navy (DoN) acquisition executive. As an expert in discussing high-vis issues, guided civilian and military personnel in communication strategies for the sustainment and development of Navy and Marine Corps platforms and warfare systems in excess of $140 billion annually; guided the RDA enterprise through training and hundreds of media engagements resulting in a better understanding of the Navy's progress with programs such as Gerald R Ford class aircraft carriers, Columbia and Virginia class submarines, nuclear deterrence, Presidential helicopter, Littoral Combat Ships, unmanned air and underwater systems, the CH-53K helicopter, and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

Provided strategic counsel to the European Commander as his spokesperson, plus managed theater-wide military media operations, planning, and outreach efforts in a dynamic security environment of 51 European countries, during a period of changing relations with Turkey and Russian military encounters.

Planned and executed all public events aimed at communicating CNO’s priorities, serving as CNO’s spokesperson. Directed hundreds of media events and participated in numerous trade shows around the world, including critical paramount engagements in China, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Japan, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.

Oversaw all Navy News Desk (media) operations. Guided and developed communication teams supporting the Secretary of the Navy and Navy staffs. Responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing communication strategies for Navy budget and continuing resolutions, exercises and operations, energy initiatives, mammal protection, strategic national-level issues, including global media coverage of Osama bin Laden’s capture and burial at-sea, and the unfortunate helicopter crash in Afghanistan that claimed 22 special warfare community lives. Involved in every facet of communicating high-interest Navy evolutions, driving key messages across global audiences with positive outcomes.

Coached over 20 active and reserve officers, enlisted and civilian communication professionals responsible for public affairs operations and outreach. This diverse team operated on short deadlines with frequent changes to ensure high-vis military missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, to include counter-piracy operations and hostage rescues, were effectively communicated. Efforts broadened the awareness and support of the Chairman’s interests in operations, policies, interagency coordination and global security issues.
