## Work Accomplishments# E-bike Controller Circuit and Firmware DevelopmentWithin 1 month of joining the company, I quickly worked with my colleagues to map out the system architecture, co-develop DSP, I2C, SPI, CAN, and DFU applications in TMS320, and quickly solve electronic circuit problems. In addition, due to the shortage of electronic engineers, I even took the initiative to take on electronic circuit design tasks, which enabled the company's products to catch up with the 2024 Taipei Cycle Show.# Electronics Engineering Training and RecruitmentI can proactively assist with electronic circuit problems in products, and explain the principles to colleagues who are not experts in the field. ## Work Accomplishments# Product ManagementIn this role, I was responsible for taking over the project progress of Dump Commander. Upon taking over, I immediately discovered that the motors and reducers used in the product did not meet the requirements of the specification sheet. So I set out to find resources and delve into the product's mechanical design. Finally, I found motors and reducers with the right specifications, and successfully launched several units of the product with a total value of NT$10 million.# Division of Labor in an OrganizationI assisted the General Manager in planning the organizational structure, clarifying the division of labor between departments, and had one-on-one conversations with each colleague to understand their expectations and views on the company. I also advocated for the benefit of holding afternoon tea every two weeks for all colleagues, which enhanced their sense of identity with the company.

## Work Accomplishment# Built a Test PlatformOne month after starting my job, I began taking on projects independently, with the goal of building an automated production line for the Fenix series of products. I successfully built and replicated the test platform over 30 times, and compiled the BOM table, making it easier to replicate the equipment in the future. This achievement resulted in reduced production costs, reduced manpower requirements, and increased output, which significantly improved the profitability of Garmin's products.# Software RefactoringI worked with my colleagues to refactor the yield inspection tool in our department. The original tool was developed in C# WinForm. We then renovated it to C# WPF and used the MVC framework to improve the maintainability and scalability of the program. We also reviewed the performance of the SQL syntax, which significantly improved the query efficiency of the application.# Production Line Maintenance Record ConstructionUpon joining the company, I was tasked with migrating the production line maintenance record platform from OneNote to Confluence. I spent two months reading and understanding the documents, adding article sections, and rewriting them with my own ideas. My goal was to make the documents easy for new employees to understand. I also described the problems, causes, solutions, and references in detail, so that any employee could easily understand them. I also built a document template so that colleagues no longer need to think about the document structure. This effectively improved work efficiency and problem finding. This achievement is like building a Garmin-specific Wiki that is simple, easy to use, and easy to maintain.
