Danny Beck is a Vice President of Business Development at Enlaza Therapeutics, a San Diego-based biotech company developing first-in-class covalent protein therapeutics to transform the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases. Before joining Enlaza, Danny Beck was a Sr. Director of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at Mirati Therapeutics, where he served as the BD-lead for the company's sale to Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) for $4.8B (up to $5.8B) in January 2024. Prior to joining Mirati, Danny worked as a finance and investment professional in San Francisco. He was most recently an Associate at Surveyor Capital (a Citadel LLC unit) covering healthcare therapeutics companies. Before joining Surveyor, Danny worked at Partner Fund Management (PFM) as a junior analyst. Danny began his career as a member of the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he advised clients on strategic transactions and debt/equity capital raises.Danny received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Southern California. He graduated cum laude and was a finalist for the Marshall undergraduate business school's commencement speaker. Danny also played varsity baseball for the Trojans during his time in college. As an active community service member, Danny is currently on the Board of Directors for a San Diego-based non-profit organization aimed at helping children undergoing cancer treatments. He previously volunteered at UCSF Children's Hospital while living in San Francisco, where he logged over 325 hours with the program.
