Assisted staff in the training, planning, documentation and implementation of all basic, and key strategies on the day to day operation of the shipping and receiving/logistics department within a medical device company. Duties include the set up and transfer of inbound and outbound shipments with carriers for land, air and ocean freight, obtain freight.

In my position I am responsible for the timely and accurate input of truck dispatch requirements, in order to secure on time delivery of laden and/or empty equipment to meet the needs of internal and external customers. Within the scope of this role, I interact with customers and/or warehouses to schedule appointments expedite door equipment and manage.

Responsible for all shipping and receiving aspects of a medical device manufacturer specializing in the sterilization industry, regulated by the FDA. Duties include, but are not limited to, shipping of all orders to clients both domestic and international. Arrangements made through multiple carriers covering LTL, air and ocean. Bills of lading, commercial.

Responsible for picking and packing all orders to be distributed to all elementary, middle and high schools in Douglas County. Assisted in distribution as delivery driver and set up of all supplies within schools. Performed physical inventory and recording of results.
