Arcgis Mapping, Thermographer, Groundsman
CurrentArcGIS - I'm currently in my 5th year of working on mapping for the City of Greenfield's electrical distribution system. Updating, adding new content, and making changes to the system using Field Maps, is where I concentrate most of my focus. I regularly use Map Viewer and have also recently began learning and using ArcGIS Pro.Thermography - I perform electrical infrared inspections on GPL's system including substations and electrical cabinets, focusing on 3 phase metering installations, where I also check metering multipliers and look for other various issues. I have done internal infrared inspections for commercial/Industrial customers for over 10 years. I developed GP&L's Infrared Program. Over 10 years experience in Infrared Thermography, with past Level 1 Thermography, and Level 1 Building Investigations Certifications from The Infrared Training Center (ITC). Energy Advisor - Initiated and lead in the development of the City of Greenfield's Energy Efficiency Program, with assistance from the city's past Business Manager. I like that I get to use my experience in thermography and metering, to help customers solve and understand their energy usage, and help to determine possible issues within their homes systems. Groundsman - for Lineman (5 years experience on service truck and new construction crew), and also was on call for around 5 years. Meter Technician - 15 years total experience in metering. Electric utility locating/ Fault Finding - I performed locating UG electric facilities for the City of Greenfield on a daily basis for 5 years, and still do it on occasion. I am also skilled in fault finding on secondary service wire faults, and perform those regularly. I love working with customers and using my knowledge in infrared technology. I also have been very excited to be working on the mapping at GP&L, as I feel its another area where I can utilize a number of my skills at the same time, and I enjoy working with ArcGIS!
