I was on Butendiek windfarm Germany. On annual service and cable repair. We was part of a four man team. We carried out cable repair on Hv Cables on five towers over the 2 weeks shift. Also annual service duties on 3.6mg turbines. .I really enjoyed this roll as cable repaires was a new roll and learnt alot off the siemens German lads. Was on westermeer wind Holland with Mammoet cranes. Now finished looking for work. I was on pre-assembly in a 6 man Heavy lifting team. This roll is very demanding in heavy lifting operations. Moveing tower sections off and on the ships from Denmark. Also the blades and nacelles. this is very well quardinated useing the cranes on the docks. We also move the pre assembly towers once completed . This role involves useing the hydraulic touque. Touqueing up the 41 nuts and bolts on the pedastal. we also used the nessell crane for lifting operations. For de rigging and rigging up the new davit cranes. My Key skills and experence was a great help on this.
