My financial journey began back in 1999 when I got my first job in finance working as a clerk on the floor of the American Stock Exchange. Since then I've held positions across both the institutional and retail side of the business as a Floor Clerk, Specialist, Market Maker, Trader, Managing Director, Director of Investments, and Financial Advisor. Throughout my time in the industry I have worked for both large and small institutions, owned my own Broker Dealer, worked on the Floor/off Floor, built complex global trading desks, managed ultra high net worth client accounts, and made a lot of people a lot of money.My experiences have taken me through the Dot.com Bubble, 9/11, Great Recession, Flash Crash, and now Covid. Along the way I've learned a great deal about how and why markets move and I try to share that knowledge as it becomes relevant.I will not recommend specific individual stocks, tell you when to buy/sell, or push any type of financial product your way. Instead, I try to explain and simplify complex investment strategies into actionable steps so you can make money. I don't have a crystal ball and I'm certainly not going to help you time the markets.
