For the past 2 years I have been Manager at a 50 seated Restaurant in West Yorkshire,with my past Catering Experience and sales background it has been a fantastic experience. I was responsible for every aspect of the business, including Basic Accounting,menu planning, marketing strategies,staff deployment along with the day to day jobs of working Front of House or in the kitchen. Prior to this I worked in the Sales industry for 9 years, I started working in lead Generation at Direct Visual back in 2005 and within 12 months i was employed as a Field Sales Expert selling Video and Audio Visual solutions, and worked hard to achieve yearly turnover targets in excess of 1.3 million every year. I then moved into a management role and focused on developing the public sector at Direct Visual and successfully then achieved a 3 million pound team target.This role included management of a team of 3/4 people, reporting to the board, strategy and planning and development. In 2010 Direct Visual was acquired by Logicalis, and i then moved into a Collaboration Sales Specialist role, which i thoroughly enjoyed but in 2011 decided it was time for a change. I started working for Martin Dawes Solutions Limited(Now Involve) as i saw an excellent opportunity with a growing company within the market place focusing on the expertise of Video and AV, I took on a business management opportunity to use my expertise in growing the business at Involve. I have a number of accreditations which include a Cisco CSA qualification and my CSE qualification. I have also passed a number of TANDBERG (now a part of Cisco) courses to enable me to promote the best solutions possible for niche requirements.I have also completed 2 Management courses.
