“Logical and rational thinking drives great decision making” One of my favourite sayings amongst my team is that we don’t have problems, we have solution opportunities. From a young age I’ve been focused on logical explanations, that prove the things I see. During education, seeking logical explanations led to to excel at problem solving, maths and science. In addition, I discovered an eagerness to understand people. I pursued psychology which became the foundation of my man management skills. I entered the retail space, initially to support my A level studies, but following early success stayed for 13 enjoyable years. Dealing with the fast paced environment, and occasionally stressful situations, gave me the opportunity to build up resilience and eventually strive under pressure. During my years in retail, I was fortunate enough to take advantage of extensive training. My appetite for training accelerated my career. At 19 I was Branch Manager of a retail store with £1.3m T/O and 50 employees, I had success, and made mistakes. Each one was a learning experience that I can now depend on. Leaving retail behind in 2015, I took a career jump to the Automotive sector, motivated by my passion for Motorsport. Within 4 years I had been promoted multiple times and received the opportunity to participate in an MBO. My perspective and understanding of business evolved again. I completed the MBO 3 years earlier than planned, whilst managing the business through the turbulence of the pandemic. During the same period, I was able to acquire a further business using an LBO model, my proudest achievement to date. Our focus is now to create a group of industry leading businesses, delivering a contemporary, modern and innovative experience with people at the core of what we do.
