I have been working as a Critical Systems Analyst at South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) since April 2023, where I am responsible for maintaining and improving the trust's critical systems, such as Cleric Cad, Telephony, Voice Recording, ePCR, and more. These systems are essential for the trust's Emergency Operations Centres, Operational Staff, and other sites, as they enable fast and efficient communication, coordination, and response to emergency calls and incidents. Prior to my current role I worked as a Resource Dispatcher in the Emergency Operations Centre where a gained valuable knowledge and experience of the trust and its ways of working whilst building relationships with colleagues across various roles within the organisation.With over five years of experience in the emergency services sector, I have developed a range of competencies and skills that support my current role and align with my passion for pursuing a career in this field. I have completed two courses from the NHS Leadership Academy, which have enhanced my understanding of leadership styles, relationships, and values. I have also obtained a Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence from NEBOSH.Further to this I have completed the nationally recognised Communications Tactical Advisor (Airwave) training course run by College of Policing in partnership with JESIP. This will enable me to play an active role in pre planned and spontaneous incidents providing valuable Tactical Advise for the trust whilst liaising with partner agencies and other emergency services to ensure resilience is maintained within the airwave network for all those who use it and that we utilise the system in the most appropriate and efficient manner without detrimental effect to other agencies or our BAU demand.Additionally, I have undertaken training in infection prevention control, fire marshall, and major incident logging, which are also vital for ensuring the safety and resilience of the trust's staff, systems, and services.
