I am a dedicated and organized IT professional passionate about studying new avenues within technology and computers to improve user efficiency and system functionality. While developing in knowledge and experience, I can contribute to the success of the company. I have been working in the IT industry for over 14 years. I have accumulated a wide range of experience in various organizational environments and in various technologies in that time. One of the experiences that I've strived to focus on is collaboration, mentorship, and communication. As an enlisted member of the US Navy working alongside the NMCI (Navy/Marine Corps Intranet) team, in the early stages of expanding its user base. Those learned skills helped earn me a position with the staffing agency TEKsystems, where my knowledge improved overall PC technology. In my time at Cox Communication, I increased in knowledge towards problem-solving, system diagnosis, and the introduction to enterprise workstation imaging and deployment methodology. At SmartDrive Systems, my role encompassed all levels of end-user support using the Remedy ticketing while also streamlining the company's security patch management program. The role also involved Server administration and configurations, administration in the Office 365, Zoom, and Dialpad environments. As SmartDrive Systems continue to operate under the umbrella of the Omnitracs company, my role has been augmented to that as the sole administrator for the SmartDrive Systems Corporate Server and Client system as the two aligning companies converge. The more my role has increased, the more technological areas have been availed to me. With the introduction of Command line and PowerShell, the exploration in these two arenas has aided in the development of automation and simplified processes supporting overall system Administration.I am currently in my final year of Seminary, and this journey made me realize what's important, family and connecting with others. I love taking a break to play the Command and Conquer PC game, cooking, teaching my sons on the BBQ, and just talking shop, whether it be a faith discussion, IT, or BBQ.
