Danny has always had a flare for the visual arts.. his creative side clearly showing during high school when he performed as part of a youth circus based in Byron Bay. When he finally tired of juggling and backflips Danny went on to study graphic design where his passion for photography grew.Danny’s initiation into the world of retouching began at a local museum, restoring old and damaged photographs. It was during this time that it became clear he had a great eye for retouching. Realising that he could turn this passion into a career Danny set his sights higher and went in search of retouching work within the advertising industry.After relocating to Auckland for 5 years where he had the privilege of working with some of New Zealand’s top photographers, Danny has now returned to Sydney. During his time away Danny worked across various aspects of retouching for many advertising clients. Working freelance enabled him to work very closely with both photographers and advertising agencies alike. The campaigns he has worked on include, Karen Walker, Scarlett (NZ based fashion label), Peugeot and ASB Bank; for photographers such as Paul Ross Jones, Fraser Clements and Ross Brown to name a few.Since returning to Sydney Danny has moved into more Fashion retouching but is keen to be involved in a more permeant role within the Fashion or Advertising scenes.
