At Emerging Futures CIC, as team lead I support staff who help support residents to overcome substance misuse and achieve an abstinent lifestyle and maintain . I have been with the company for over two years, starting as an activities coordinator and then becoming a housing project worker.I am passionate about empowering residents to make healthy and informed decisions, using evidence-based solutions and interventions. I collaborate with a team of professionals from various sectors, such as health, social care, and criminal justice, to provide holistic and tailored support to each resident. I also have strong interpersonal and mental health skills, which help me to build rapport, trust, and empathy with the residents and their families. My goal is to help the residents become the people they are truly meant to be.
