I joined GAY45 magazine as a Staff Writer, contributing articles dealing with LGBTQ+ culture and current affairs, as well as doing some graphic design work. My first article, exploring the backstory of France’s first gay PM, Gabriel Attal, and responses to his appointment, came out in January.

Alongside practical experience, this placement involved study towards a Level 5 Ofqual-certified TESOL qualification.
