I wasn't very fast and didn't really enjoy it, so I handed in my notice. On my last night, they asked if I wanted to work the floor, serving tables.I was hooked.Most said they couldn't bear taking orders. Some mentioned that it was something you did until you found a real job. Others would talk about how it was a low paying.My only conception of service was ensuring people had a great time. I loved making a night out memorable for others. This wasn't work, this was fun. And so I travelled to wherever I could, enjoying myself. Countries, restaurants, banquets & weddings came and went. I learned skills along the way, I had no idea how the art of fine dining would shape me. Problem solving, work ethic & time management became key influences in my life.After a decade of this, I started to think I could serve people in a manner more relevant to their lives.
