California has always been my home, and my work is focused on its future. I am the Managing Partner of Reservoir Ventures and the CEO of the Reservoir, an ecosystem of nonprofit and for-profit ventures tackling California’s most urgent challenges and opportunities. The Reservoir is where innovation meets impact, with a focus on natural resource markets like agriculture, forests, biomanufacturing, and sustainability. Through our three pillars—Reservoir Ventures, Reservoir Farms & Labs, and Reservoir Co.—we connect startups with real-world environments and resources to test, validate, and scale solutions in AI, automation, and sustainability.Reservoir Ventures, our venture capital fund, invests in early-stage startups applying breakthrough technologies to unlock the potential of California’s natural and technological assets. By connecting world-class technologists, major industrial players, and the state’s diverse markets, we aim to generate investor returns while driving economic growth and workforce development. Before founding the Reservoir, I spent 20 years in Silicon Valley leading business development, partnerships, and developer programs at Google and Microsoft. At Google, I worked across products like Search, Chrome, Firebase, and Google Identity after the acquisition of Meebo, a Web 2.0 startup we sold to Google 2012. At Microsoft, I led critical product lines for Microsoft Teams.California’s challenges are complex, but its opportunities are unparalleled. Through the Reservoir, I’m committed to ensuring the state remains a global leader in innovation and sustainability.
