This foundation of dedication and resilience has been a constant in my career, exemplified through my successful self-employed counselling and supervision business. Here, I provide a variety of therapy models, emphasising Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to a diverse clientele.I possess a unique amalgamation of skills in website design, social media, marketing, and communication. These competencies enable me to elevate services to their optimum performance and efficiency. I am adept at devising unique strategies and campaigns that not only drive success but also ensure an organisation's prominence and lasting impact.From the age of 21, I embarked on a challenging journey, starting as the support coordinator for drug and alcohol recovery services in Newquay, including an outreach initiative in the area. My roles have been varied and impactful: from a homeless recovery officer to a qualified counsellor specialising in domestic abuse and sexual offense counselling, as well as a data administrator, media, and marketing executive. My volunteer work with Circles SW further underlines my commitment to social betterment.Having worked with some of the most complex, high-risk individuals, I have consistently demonstrated that I do not shy away from challenges. Project Worker 3 - Change 4U Senior Worker And Safer Futures Training CoordinatorBarnardo'S Nov 2022 - PresentCornwall, England, United KingdomWithin this role I not only provide the duties outlined in the Project Worker 2 role (as previously mentioned), but I also maintain and coordinate our training offer for Cornwall Safer Futures.I provide supervision for Barnardo's staff members and council workers who provide a behaviour change programme; as a part of this I line manage the low-med risk behaviour change workers for Change 4U, the Change 4U Integrated Offender Management team, the Training team, and the Behaviour Change Workshops Team.As a part of this role I provide numerous reports which involve a series of quarter reports for the Change 4U Behaviour Change Programme, a report of courses we run each quarter, NHS reports, and bespoke training reports. In additon, I am contracted to provide adittional reports and data to our partner service First Light, and process all the evaluation form data and outcomes data for all of the above.When I took over the role as training Coordinator, I wanted to modernise our offer and make it more competitive, to do this I adopted a series of models and tech that would help us to achieve this and integrated these with immediate effect.I also help create new training opportunities, meet with comissioners and other charities and organisations, prepare bespoke training to be delivered either for a fee or as part of our comissioning requirements. I provide regular training review meetings with my team as a part of this, and delegate out tasks.I provide regular supervision to my team, ensuring supervision agreements are in place, DSE checklists are completed, provide a client conference weekly on a Monday so my team can share safeguarding concerns, offload, and together with my support mitigate risk and come up with solutions to presenting issues. -
Project Worker 2 - Senior Project WorkerBarnardo'S Jan 2021 - Nov 2022Cornwall, England, United KingdomI lead a team of Barnardo's staff and council workers in providing a behaviour change intervention to clients displaying abusive behaviours, requiring a healthy relationships intervention, or partner support for abuse experienced currently or in the past. As well as line managing this team, I also line manage the Integrated Offender Management Team, working with the highest risk clients within the county. Within my role I coordinate and run client conference sessions with the whole team every week where my team can talk to me about the cases that are troubling them, troubleshoot any issues, allow room for discussion of cases and to be supported.Change 4U also provides workshops which I have designed alongside my colleagues to be a beneficial, an additional and optional aspect to the behaviour change programme for our clients.When COVID arrived in the UK, I adapted the Change 4U programme to be delivered remotely, online or by phone, as well as face to face, since then the programme has continued to be delivered in this way as we were able to increase attendance rates, programme completion rates, and behaviour change outcomes, as well as reduce reoffending rates too. I re-designed 30+ topics that could then be delivered in any format, and spent many countless hours researching and sourcing interventions that could be integrated into the programme.I provide regular supervision for all my team, as well as have supervision agreements in place, DSE assessments, complete PDR reviews, and monitor staff leave balances and sickness. I am familiar and confident with both Dynamics, and previously MyPlace, I am also confident with Oracle having used this in my current and previous role, as well as content server and one drive. I also as a part of my role take on a small caseload of complex clients who are either considerable risk, or there are additional concerns regarding their wellbeing or the wellbeing of their children. -

It was necessary within this role to observe if there was successful behaviour change occurring, whether clients were being genuine and honest or not, whether there were signs of abuse towards their partners or children, whether the process was working.I worked closely alongside the partner worker, who worked with the current and previous partners of my clients to understand if there were any further risks or concerns, and whether the behaviour change process was successful. -
