Profile bio

About Daniel Bowman

I am a creative, results-driven scientist with a strong project management background. I have a passion for really interesting problems, especially ones that involve putting sensors in places they don't normally go. For example, my work in acoustic sensing from high altitude balloons has yielded discoveries that simply aren't possible from the ground. My work has spanned subjects such as remote sensing, flight system R&D, test execution, and geophysics. I have authored 40 peer reviewed journal articles and have been awarded a patent in directional infrasound sensing. I always open to taking on projects involving technical excellence and creativity. I am especially interested in mentoring the next generation of science superstars.

Listed skills include Acoustics, Seismology, Volcanology, Geology, and 14 others.
